Pre-requisite: License Purchase & Issuance
Create unique license key for part number
Format: BS25XXXX-YYYY-ZZ-NNNNNNNN
Record customer details and invoice number
Status: Added → Issued
Send license key to customer (invoice, email, portal)
Initial License Activation
Customer receives license key from purchase
Enter key in software
System captures hardware fingerprint (CPU, Disk, OS)
Email or upload LAR file
Vendor sends activated license file via email
License bound to hardware - Software unlocked ✓
Upload customer's LAR request
Check license key, status, fingerprint
Create encrypted license file with signature
Status: Issued → Activated
Automated email delivery
License Migration (Hardware Change)
New PC, motherboard, or disk
Software locked - Grace period starts
Same license key, new fingerprint
Request migration approval
New ALF with updated fingerprint
License bound to new hardware ✓
Migration count: +1
Detect existing activation
License status: Activated
Show hardware changes comparison
Check migration count (max 10)
Check timing (min 7 days)
Generate new ALF with new fingerprint
Increment migration count
Send migrated license file
